For your grand finale, present an original paper based on your own research. I’ll be looking for the following:
- A paper that centers around an original argument
- A demonstration of a through investigation of your chosen topic, text or author
- Three non-journalistic sources that are either directly quoted or summarized
- At least 7 typed, double-spaced pages
As discussed in class, you will need to base your paper on an arguable thesis that is focused and detailed. You’ll need your reader to know where you stand on your topic, and why your position is important.
